Support Norbulingka

Please Support Norbulingka Institute during Covid-19.

Norbulingka Institute is a non-profit organization, chaired by His Holiness the Dalai Lama until his retirement from official duties in 2015. Today, H.E the 7th Ling Rinpoche is Chairman of the Norbulingka Trust.

For the past 25 years, Norbulingka built a thriving, sustainable community of Tibetan artisans, writers, educators and creative talent. We have created an environment for Tibetan culture to flourish in exile and one for visitors to see, learn from and enjoy.

The arrival of Covid-19 has threatened the community and the livelihood of 366 employees, trainees, students, and their families. Norbulingka depended entirely on revenue from visitors and tourists who shopped for products made by our artisans or stayed in our guesthouses. The pandemic has put a stop to this, with no end in sight.

Since Norbulingka can not currently receive visitors, we are bringing Norbulingka to you, thanks to the Internet. www.norbulingka.org
