Norbulingka visitors

For Norbulingka, sustainability is defined by creativity, resourcefulness, hope, respect and responsibility. It is about doing all we can and learning from the adversities while believing in the power of human spirit to thrive and make things better.

Over the years, Norbulingka have evolved into a remarkable destination. With the efforts and works from our masters and artisans, the hospitality of our staff and the beauty of our environment, the vibrancy of Tibetan culture is on full display throughout the institute, preserved in exile to share with the rest of the world. In the past two months, we are able to feel again the vibrant energy around brought in by our visitors from around the world.Spring is here and with the lovely weather, Norbulingka’s gardens teem with bird life, creativity flows in our art studios and we feel at peace.

We share photos and a few messages from our guests.

“The beauty and serenity of this place otherworldly. You can find the peace and quiet you don't find anywhere else.” Shatakshi Singh

“Beautiful spiritual and artistic place. Loved seeing artists of all kinds at work and even more when they shared the process and the meaning of the art. Must see while at Dharmshala.” Karthikeyan Gopinathan

“It's so beautiful to see when new generation is eager to preserve heritage in terms of art and traditions.” Nitin Kaundal
